Our founder and President, Larry Williams has spent nearly 50 years in the trucking industry. Larry has been a driver, dispatcher, broker, and owner. His roots run deep in the industry, and it is no wonder everyone knows Larry. Larry Williams Trucking, LLC was introduced in 2002, but the family business started long before that.
In 1967, Larry’s father, Perry Williams started a refrigerated trucking business in Colcord Oklahoma. With customers such as Georges, Town and Country and Plus Poultry, he quickly grew to 60 trucks. A&W Trucking Services was well known and ran successfully for nearly 15 years, and then in 1980, Perry started A&W Redi-Mix Concrete and opened offices in Siloam Springs, Ar, Gravette, Ar, Grove, Ok, Westville, Ok, and South West City, Mo. It was during this time, Larry drove a concrete truck in the family business.
Eager to start something of his own, Larry worked diligently learning the business and the industry until he was able to establish Larry Williams Trucking, LLC, in 2002. Larry’s sister and Office Manager, Jayne Galloway started working with Larry in 2003, and Lisa Galloway, our COO started a few years later. This family triad pushed for economic growth and found tremendous opportunities locally.
Today, whether Company OTR, Regional, Shuttle or Lease Purchase, Larry Williams Trucking is a family-owned business that provides safe, reliable- on time services that fit our customers growing needs. Our knowledgeable operations team keep our drivers moving, providing them with the miles they want and need. We treat our drivers and employees with respect and acceptance, which is why our goal at LWT is to create a safe, peaceful, and supportive working environment for all of its members.
